Treatment depends upon the degree of fracture of the tooth. i.e, if the fracture is within the first two layers of the tooth, then the tooth can be filled with tooth coloured filling material. If the fracture is involving the third,inner most layer of the tooth i.e, pulp, then the tooth has to undergo for Root Canal Treatment. For any fractures, X-ray is a must to know the extent of fracture and to confirm any root fractures.
